Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark in an interview with Car Magazine confirmed that the company is developing a full-sized crossover. The novelty will occupy a niche over the Bentayga, it will be more spacious and more luxurious than the latter. So far, the unnamed model will become the new flagship of the British brand after the completion of the production of the large Mulsanne sedan.
Talking about the development of a new crossover, Adrian Hallmark cited the automobile market in China as an example and hinted that the Bentayga model with a long wheelbase could become a brand bestseller in China and completely replace the departed Mulsanne.
The Bentley executive added that the British company would like to build a “more luxurious and larger Bentayga.” Thus, we can conclude that the future flagship Bentley will not be a completely new model, but will be an extended version of the Bentayga with a redesigned interior and additional personalization options.
The Bentayga crossover is nearing the middle of the production cycle, so Bentley will strive to retain customers with the new model modifications.
