Mercedes-Benz has announced a new car that will be designated the T-Class.
Mercedes-Benz should present the new passenger compact van T-Class in the first half of 2022. According to preliminary information, the novelty will share a platform with the next generation Citan van. Like the Citan, which has been in production for eight years, the new T-Class will be created in collaboration with Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.
Moreover, if the Citan model is positioned as a commercial model, then the new T-Class will be aimed at private clients: large families or outdoor enthusiasts. In the company’s lineup, the T-Class will occupy a niche before the V-Class.
The new car will be offered a comfortable and spacious interior, styling in the spirit of modern passenger cars, as well as an attractive ratio between cost and consumer value. The new T-Class will have several modifications, including an all-electric version.
