Italian experts have developed a unique body with golden elements for the supercar created on the basis of the modern GT-R coupe. The car received a new hood with other air intakes, an understated roofline, and a narrower rear window.
In addition, the GT-R50 received a completely different optics, as well as the optional massive rear wing. The interior uses carbon, genuine leather, and Alcantara.
The coupe has an improved 3.8-liter V6 bi-turbo engine with 720 hp. and a torque of 780 Nm, which exceeds the power of a conventional Nissan GT-R by 120 hp. The company said that larger turbocompressors, a reinforced crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons were installed in the unit. In addition to everything, the injection system was modified and the intake and exhaust were reconfigured.
Italdesign’s Nissan GT-R50 starts at € 990,000. It’s almost 5 times more expensive than a regular Nissan GT-R Nismo. First buyers will receive their GT-R50 at the end of 2020 or at the beginning of 2021.
