Auction house RM Sotheby’s put up for sale a very rare Porsche 911 GT2 1996 release. Bidding will end on March 28, according to the forecasts of the organizers, the price will be about $ 1 million. Vehicle mileage is about 30,000 km.
The 993rd generation Porsche 911 GT2 was the first and perhaps the most iconic modification of the GT2 hardcore model. For all time, only 194 road copies were released.
The power of the machine is provided by a 3.6–liter turbo engine with a capacity of 430 hp and a torque of 541 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which transmits torque to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
The car is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds, and the maximum speed is almost 300 km / h.
In addition, the Porsche 911 GT2 is equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, special 18-inch alloy wheels, fiberglass wheel arch extensions, and a large fixed rear wing.
The silver example has several factory options, such as air conditioning, power windows, front airbags, and tinted windshield. It was imported to the United States just a few years ago from Japan. It is also noted that the car has a stunning gray-black interior.
