Tesla has released a new software update for the Model S and Model X Performance edition. Thanks to this, the Model S has become more dynamic than the Bugatti Chiron, because it only needs 2.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h, which is 0.1 seconds quicker than a 1500 hp hypercar.
Tesla does not disclose the secrets of the new version of the software, however, to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.3 seconds on the Model S Performance edition, you must select a new “Cheetah Stance” Launch Mode.
The updated Model X Performance also impresses with its dynamic performance, because it takes 2.6 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. Only a tuning version with a capacity of about 1000 horsepower like the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from Hennessey can compete with such a car among crossovers.
It is worth noting that the owners of the top models in the Performance version just need to update the software because to increase the dynamics you don’t need any mechanical changes.
