Autovisie has published images of the Porsche hybrid hypercar.
Autovisie managed to get pictures of the new German-made hybrid hypercar. Most likely, Porsche is preparing a 918 Spyder receiver, which is hinted at by the design of the computer model. To create the hypercar, Porsche designers were inspired by the 917 sports prototype, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 50 years ago.
The exterior of the hybrid hypercar is made in the style of the concept 917, which debuted in March 2019. The car will receive a single cabin with an original door opener and optics in the style of current Porsche models.
Information on technical equipment is extremely small. All that is known is that the model will not be completely electric. The presence of the internal combustion engine is hinted at by the filler neck and exhaust pipe. Most likely the 918 Spyder receiver will receive a hybrid powerplant.
Experts suggest that the hypercar may get a turbocharged V6, which was developed to participate in Formula 1. In this case, the new Porsche will be the answer to the Mercedes-AMG One.
Production of the Porsche hypercar will probably begin in 2025, but the model can be presented already this year to coincide with the half-century anniversary of the first victory of the Porsche 917 in Le Mans.
